Therapy or Coaching? How to Know Which One You Need

It's one of the most common questions we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on what you're solving for.
Therapy tends to be the right fit when you're working through something clinical — anxiety, depression, trauma, a diagnosable pattern that's been shaping your life for a while. It's licensed, it's confidential in a specific legal sense, and it often looks backward as much as forward, because understanding how you got here is part of how you move through it.
Coaching is usually the better fit when you already have a baseline of stability and you're working toward something specific — a goal, a habit, a transition you're navigating. It's more structured, more present-and-future focused, and doesn't require a clinical diagnosis to begin.
The two aren't mutually exclusive. Plenty of people move between them, or use both at once — therapy for the deeper emotional work, coaching for the practical, goal-oriented piece. If you're still unsure, that's a completely normal place to start from. A consultation call is the fastest way to figure out which door makes sense for you right now.
