This quick, free quiz helps you understand your mental and emotional needs as a flight deck or cabin crewmember. Aviation comes with distinct stressors, long duty days, regulatory pressure, fatigue, and the emotional labor of the job. This quiz isn’t an evaluation; it’s simply a tool to help you identify what’s impacting your wellbeing and how we can better support you through Soaring Wings Peer Support Group initiatives.
Soaring Wings Peer Support
A grounded, trauma‑informed community space for aviation professionals
Soaring Wings Peer Support was created by aviation professionals for aviation professionals. Our mission is to offer a space where crew can regulate, reflect, and connect with others who understand the emotional labor, fatigue, and unique pressures of life in the air.
This is a place to land. A place to breathe. A place to be understood without having to explain the job.
Soaring Wings is a peer‑driven, non‑clinical support space rooted in grounding practices, community care, and shared lived experience.
About the Group
Soaring Wings began as a weekly peer support circle for flight attendants and pilots seeking connection and emotional grounding. Over time, it has grown into a broader wellness‑centered community offering structured peer support, somatic practices, and opportunities for collective reflection.
Our approach blends:
-
Trauma‑informed facilitation
-
Somatic grounding and breathwork
-
Psychoeducation and shared strategies
-
Community connection and mutual support
We honor the lived experience of aviation workers and create space for honest conversation, nervous‑system regulation, and collective resilience.
This is not therapy. It is a supportive, non‑clinical space guided by peers with lived aviation experience and wellness training.
